Warriors lose a game of runs
The Warrior men suffered a 93-78 loss to Ozark Christian College last night in front of the home crowd. Despite a valiant second half come back to cut the lead to four with 5 minutes remaining in the game.
The visitors were lights out early, giving themselves a halftime lead of 43-34 lead at the break, and then a hot start in the second half to push the lead to 23. Ozark's biggest advantage came on the glass, as they outrebounded us by a staggering 47-30 margin, leading to too many second-chance opportunities.
However, the team showed heart, with three players putting up big numbers:

Josh Kerongo led all scorers with 23 points on 10-of-14 shooting and added a game-high 6 steals.

Braden Essex battled hard inside, chipping in with 20 points and pulling down 8 rebounds.

Michael Boit was also strong offensively, adding 17 points to the score sheet.
