Warriors Pull Away in Home Victory

Union Adventist University (UAU) secured a decisive home win against Peru JV on November 13, 2025, defeating the visitors 93-79.

The home team pulled ahead in the first half, taking a narrow lead of 45-41. UAU's victory was propelled by a dominant interior performance, as they outscored Peru JV 58-20 in the paint. UAU also capitalized on opponent miscues, tallying 19 points off turnovers and a total of 50 rebounds as a team.

The Warriors bounced back from a 5-30 three-point shooting night with a more efficient 7-23 from deep.

Union Adventist University (93 Points):

  • Josh Kerongo led all scorers with 24 points and added 8 rebounds and 2 steals.

  • JP Grubbs contributed 21 points on efficient 8-of-13 shooting, including a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line.

  • Braden Essex provided an all-around effort with 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.

Peru JV (79 Points):

  • Casen Dalingaus paced the visitors with 22 points, shooting an impressive 5-of-6 from three-point range.

  • Sam Ginzley had a near double-double, finishing with 19 points and 9 rebounds.
